Northern Cyprus offers a tremendous opportunity for bargains
The unification talks of Cyprus are set to benefit the region, as tourism has already grown rapidly due to its beautiful landscapes, unspoiled beaches, it has been claimed.
According to the Daily Mail, Property hunters looking for a holiday home or sunny spot to retire may wish to consider buying in northern region to take advantage of the low prices available, due to the north still trading in Turkish lira. Northern Cyprus offers a wide variety of attractions, including good beaches, food and guaranteed sunshine.
Nick Bointon, from Llandovery, west Wales, told the newspaper that he initially thought of buying in the south to start his holiday business but decided to take a day trip up north to explore
He commented: “The prices here are amazing … It’s a very unspoilt place.”
The cost of property in Northern Cyprus is still around half as much as those in southern Cyprus for comparable properties. However, citing predictions from market experts, the newspaper added that Prices will continue to rise, it adds, with the country expected to grow and develop further.
